Performance Solution

We employ the Performance Solution procedure to assure Certifiers and Body Corporates that fire hazards are effectively reduced. Essentially, this implies that when these materials are intended for installation on the higher levels of multi-story residential or other business structures, each undertaking must undergo evaluation by a Fire Engineer and receive certification indicating minimal to no fire danger. This method is outlined in the NCC as a “Performance Solution”.

We’ve collaborated closely with the “Australian Association of Blind Manufacturers” and a National Fire Expert to develop a “Performance Solution” for materials that meet the strict requirements of AS 1530 part II and Part III fire assessments. This solution can be proposed for approval in a specific project through the involvement of a certifier. However, please be aware that there’s no absolute assurance that a certifier will endorse this Performance Solution. Therefore, it’s crucial to consult your certifier before making any commitments. If your certifier approves our solution, we can offer you a Performance Solution for a fee of $500.
